Some collectors consider the copper ring strikes somewhat more valueable. And a few collect the copper rimed strikes. As a different part of their collection. ME---it doesn't matter to much to me. I usually will not pay extra because they have a copper rim. I am after the general strike theme not the strike rim. And a person has to draw the line somewhere. As to just what is to be collected.
