Christie-sorry but I disagree about the banquet and trading session. Being a member of the club provides added benefits, like the club quarterly and the trading sessions and the club auction session and the club poker tournament and the borrowing privileges at the club library and the preregistration for the convention. Not getting these benefits is a person's choice, not a penalty. Certainly they are worth the extra money to me. I believe that the rule allowing chapter membership only with no club membership is not a good rule. However, the voters have spoken and the amendment requiring club membership to be in a chapter did not get the required 2/3 vote, although it did come close.
