The size of the center would not change whether it was .900 fine silver or .999 fine silver. Sterling silver is .925 fine. Most collectors would not know the difference just by looking unless they did an actual finess test on the metal.

The difference in fineness is purity, not size or weight. .900 fine silver has other metals mixed with .999 fine which makes it harder for durability.
