Kirk - Your answer may not be the case, some casinos have been putting older strikes in a Red Cap, the former Hilton in Reno was the first to do this, Sierra Sids in Sparks is still doing it so this can account for why the person has a strike in a clear cap and has seen the same strike in a red cap.
