To me Dick's original comments were straight forward. A simple question or comment. Perhaps others that have read the statement can comment about the message. Fakes are a part of every collectible. Why should one stick their head in the sand? The more information available the better informed the collector. An informed collector is the best defense. This base is the perfect place to disseminate such information.
Peter you seem to be the one initiating the "digs". The higher the prices soar with increased popularity the more likely a devious number of people may try to perpetrate something.
