If you think an apology is in order Warren, please go ahead and make it. The presupposition of Dick's comment was that this was very likely a forged or altered strike. It is not. There has been a lot of questions within the chipping community lately about forgery and counterfeiting and do we need to bring this into our hobby?, I think not. This board has become very negative lately and I rarely participate anymore because who wants to argue the points. I make no apologies, I just would not have created the original thread, but as you are entitled to your request for an apology I defend my statement by reading betweens the lines of the orignial comment
and once in awhile just want to get a dig in the same way that Dick did. His comment was accusatory, not informational.
