I'm simply asking a "valid" question Peter, as to "rarity" of this particular Bill Shakespeare Small Font strike. I'm not asking about any other small or large font strikes as to their "rarity". The "subject" of my post is "strictly" the Bill's Casino Bill Shakespeare strikes! What is "scarcity" and what is "rarity"? There is no question that the large font Bill Shakespeare strike is "scarce" for whatever the reason. Either the numbers and machine time were originaly limited to some degree or these strikes are simply "rat-holed" in peoples' dresser drawers and not in circulation. If "rarity" can be "manufactured" is it truly "rare"? As for the other insinuations,no I don't have a "basement" on my home and no, I don't print "counterfeit" money on the weekends or any other time! I like to believe that my "moral standards" are a little higher than that Peter. Although I don't "profess" to be an expert on silver strikes I do have a "good" working knowledge of the hobby and some very good reference material on the subject, some of it put together by myself and some from other sources. As for the last part of your post, yes Peter I am enjoying the "hobby" very well, thank you and especially this "public" forum we are so "graciously" allowed to air our comments on! Enjoy the hobby!...............Dick Maheu in New Mexico
