I talked to Rick Ronca -- head of slots at the El Cortez. Last January during the SS tournment. He said he had some new $10 strikes approved. However, he was having trouble getting them. He HAD HOPED to have them in the SS machines for the SS tournment. He did not know when he would get the strikes. As for a $200 he was having a problem here also.
MAYBE, the strikes are still susposed to be coming. Hope so!!!

MY 2 cents below:

What I am seeing and hearing -- and I am afraid -- is happening. Is that "IGT"" is causing the casino's TOO MUCH TROUBLE & PROBLEMS. As far as silver strikes is concerned. The casino people is getting fed up with all this trouble and problems. AND are ready to OR getting out of the Silver strike machine business. After all -- look how many machines has left the casinos.
WHEN & IF IGT gets their act together. I do not think it looks to good for us silver strike collectors. As for as new strike releases in the future. The SS program could just fade out and die. This would be a very sad day for me and I think many others.

Some casino's are trying to hang in there. BUT for how long???????????????????????
