Of course ebay encourages everyone to use Paypal. Doesn't Ebay now own Paypal?

Lee; I've sent cash many times to Ebay sellers at my risk ... especially to those whom I know ... or to those whom I have asked the seller the question before bidding if he/she would accept cash. You would be surprised how many sellers insist on PayPal only ... resulting in no bids from me.

So they now collect on the fees both ways... for the listing and for the payment! Pretty good deal ... for them!
