your opinion as a coin collector, has very little to do with cleaning a strike? just to let you no there are 7 coin stores here in columbus who all have a ultrasonic cleaner in there store!! i did not say you should clean a gold coin that is 150 years old in the cleaner, im talking about silver strikes, i have been in the business of working with different metals, and cleaning different metals for 19 years, i use different plating solutions, i test different metals for there content, i cast different metals, now this is not my opinion, this is all fact! i do this for a liveing !! oh and by the way i have collected gold coins for the past 27 years,silver coins for about 20 years, and silver strikes for 6 years, i guess you would say im a coin collector, the only thing you might say is my opinion, is that you seem to always like to stick your 2 cents in either on the strike board, or chip board, when your opinion was not ask for!! now that is an opinion? the rest of what i said is all fact!
