i don't no why i have not ever posted this before? i read everyone telling everyone else what is the best way to clean a silver strike? here is the best thing to clean silver strikes since sliced bread! before i tell you, let me give you a little background , i was a goldsmith for 18 years, what do you clean jewelry in? a heated ultrasonic cleaner (gold silver platinum) i have cleaned all my strikes in the cleaner at work for the last 6 years, that is a big reason why i have my strikes sent to my work address, the first thing i do is clean it in the ultrasonic cleaner before i bring it home! its unreal how much nicer they look in a matter of seconds! it will not remove much of the tarnish, but will shine up your strike beautiful, i do have something to use which is the best thing in the world for removeing the tarnish off your strikes, and you can use it in the cleaner, but your not supposed to use this product any more, its not a paste, email me if you want to no what it is? but if you do use the paste, the cleaner will remove the left over paste left on your strike in a few seconds, it get to the point i have sold many small heated ultrasonic cleaners on ebay over the years to jewelry stores, and other goldsmiths, i have another brand new one to list this weekend on ebay,i promise you this is the best way to clean your strikes, you would be amazed at how good of a job this cleaner will do, this is the perfect size heated unit to use its about 9 inches high x 7 inches wide with a timer, the timer has to be on for the heat to work, i also have about 2-3 lbs of the cleaning powder you mix with the water , these sell with no problem at all when i list them, im really not trying to make a sale here. just letting you all know what you need to use to clean your strikes, ill list this unit this weekend so if anyone wants to buy this or do some trading before i list it send me a email. its brand new you can't buy this unit in a store.
