$10 shipping seems pretty high, and that should be thought of when bidding on a item. Anyone bidding should figure that into the total price one is willing to pay. Sounds like you did not get very good service or packaging for your money. I can understand your problem with that.............
When selling on a Internet auction site , Any "e-bay" seller can not assume that another Club member will bid or win their auction ...So I don't believe that ( being a Club member ) is any entitlement to any special or perferred shipping....Unless, maybe you have done business with that person before and have a established relationship, But The seller of your item should give you ( club member or not ) some sort of response to your unhappiness with the condition you received it in considering how much you paid for shipping it.....and a no response could give you reason to file a complaint with the club about this this seller who is also a club member as you say.
Some say slap them with a negitive, you could, but will that accomplish anything.....Negitives don't accomplish anything as far as correcting the problem....that should be a very very last resort.
