at their own game.
TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE SENDING THEM THE TOKEN BACK without them sending the REFUND first.
We all know that this token is a common variety. DO NOT insure it for $320.00 BUT do send it back PRIORITY US MAIL with RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED and DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.
If you know someone at the post office well enough you might show them the token and have them watch you seal it inside the PRIORITY MAILING ENVELOPE. Better yet, if you have a digital video camera do a video at the post office of the placement of the token into the envelope and handing of it to the postal clerk showing the addresse on the envelope.
AS for the seller claiming that they did NOTHING wrong!!!! While I will admit that their photos left me wondering IT IS THE SELLERS RESPONISIBILITY TO NOT FALSELY ADVERTISE an item for sell with or without a picture. THIS SELLER made the FALSE WRITTEN STATEMENT THIS IS THE RAREST OF O`SHEAS DECISION 2000 SILVER STRIKES. THE BUSH/GORE ELECTION YEAR. THIS SILVER STRIKE MINTAGE IS LIMITED TO ONLY 125. THE CASINO ONLY PUT ONE OF THESE COINS PER HOPPER UNTIL THEY WERE ALL GONE. SO THIS WAS VERY HARD TO WIN.
REGARDLESS of what the picture shows, the description written by the seller is FALSE ADVERTISING.
TOO many times I see an item that has a picture that is most likely wrong WHILE the written description of the token is correct, and if I have time I contact that seller whether I bid on it or not.
Recent example is this repost auction link. (Seller appearently has more than one)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1090093981
with the picture of it as...
which I mentioned in an earlier post. I am sure that this is NOT the picture of the Gold Country Token that this seller is selling. COULD it be an ERROR??? Well I haven't received the token yet. When I do I will contact the SELLER. In this case I didn't over pay for the regular token.
