Buying a Silver Strike Collection question

I have just bought a small chip collection from the heirs of a man I met at a casino a few years ago. They now tell me that he has a moderately large Silver Strike collection (something like 900 pieces) they are also wanting to sell.

What would be a fair price to pay for such a collection, especially if you can't see all of the strikes before purchase? I get the feeling they may not want to scan or photograph all of the tokens. Based on the chip collection it seems like the guy was a collector not dealer since he had mainly only one of each chip. Is there a big enough market to get rid of the strikes I don't want to keep in my collection? I know that selling on ebay seems to be a waste of time and money.

Would you pay face value, a percentage over face, under face value or ????????
