You're not likely to get a blackjack spades out of any machine at the airport unless someone redeemed one and it was put back in a fill. Most of the slot personnel at the airport knows that it is rare and will buy it themselves. There is a story as to why this strike was a short run which is the reason for it's rarity. Shortly after the strike was released and put into play, someone told the owner of the McCarran slots that it was bad luck to travel with a blackjack of spades. He pulled the strike and reordered the blackjack of hearts. I've been told this story by several collectors and you must say it makes a good story, even though I can't state it as the truth.
