I got a good listing of the value of the strikes, learned lots about stirkes (and more importantly - where to find the info) and met some great folks.

I went and talked to him again, let him know there is only about .6 oz of silver in a strike and that the "wet" strikes were plated. I told him that the value was aound $12 each, but I would give him $15 Canadian for them. He at first wouldn't budge and then firmly stated $20 each, no less.

So, I didn't grow my strike collection - but I met some great folks.
