Hey Gang!

I have a few Strikes and have a couple of questions related to them...

How much silver is in a Strike?
Is the "golden" outer ring plated silver or is the core the only silver in the strike?

Is there a guide book for strikes? THe reason for this question is a coin dealer that keeps his eyes out for chips/tokens for me has 39 strikes that he has offered me. There are 32 original (if I remember correctly). THey are primarily Vegas with some Nevada and about a half-dozen "wet" strikes. I have a hand written list and will be putting it together electronically today.

He has offered them to me for $25 each. I am leaning to $20 each at best. I was hoping to find a couple of higher value strikes and sell/trade the duplicates to recover some of the investment.

Any advice is helpful...
