I don't know how many you have, but here is what I do with my chips when I am in a hotel.

I use a rolling suitcase for my chips and books. I take them with me to breakfast and have the room cleaned while I am out. After that I put my Do Not Disturb sign on the door, leave my chips behind and hope for the best. To date nothing has been missing.
