Harrahs properties took theirs out because one guy has a beef with IGT..Plaza got plenty of play. I think maybe theirs is gone as a result of not being able to tie that much money up in silver strikes. It really makes little sense, but, casinos don't always see the big picture. I think one of the main reasons casinos drop thier programs is they dont really like coming up with new designs. The play slows down when its the same strike forever. Many slot directors may be good at what they do, but, not necessarily good at coming up with designs. I would love to see more strikers with artistic ability send drawings into casinos. Any casino that has nice looking strikes , decent tourist flow and a well located strike machine will do pretty well money wise with silver strikes.
