Hi Rich, It's probably going to be a "long" time if ever, before the real "definitive" work on Strikes is published! The problem being that different people are willing to pay different prices for strikes because of various personal reasons. To really get a "pulse" on the worth of strikes you need to inject data from several sources. Marv Weaver and Art Becker have price guides for sale that in their own right have some very good information in them to get you "started". Looking at the auctions on a "daily" basis is another good indicator of prices. looking at Dealer's web sites with their price lists are another good input. Silver Strike shows, Coin shows and shops, Pawn shops , etc. can also give you input as to current prices. Of course the "law' of supply and demand has a great bearing on prices at any given time. I have personally put my own reference book together as have a lot of strike collectors to try and keep a fairly good pulse on the strike market. You can see it is no small or easy "task" to put this "accurate" price informtion in any "book" and expect it to be "current" 6 months down the road! I hope this "info" has helped you out on this subject. I'm sure other collectors can give you added information that I have overlooked................Dick Maheu in New Mexico
