It could be that Harvey's slot people went through this approvel process. Eather before the Harrahs upper management found out about it. OR before the IGT problems--I heard about-- that Harrahs has with IGT. Started or got too bad. It looks like to me. That it's the upper Harrahs management that is stopping the silver strike program, not the local casino management. When Harrahs takes over a casino. The silver strike program is stopped there. Now, I hear that Harrahs is taking over Bill's Casino in Lake Tahoe. And the silver strike program is coming to a end there.
Wheather Harvey's will forge ahead with the approved silver strikes. It looks doubtful, at this point in time. -to me- Hopefully Harvey's wiil go ahead with the silverstrike program. Only time will tell.
There seems to me more and more casinos.--NOT JUST HARRAHS-- Are having problems with IGT of some kind. If IGT-who owns- the silver strike program. Doesn't change their thinking and ways. I think that there is a real good possiballity that the silver strike program. Sadly for us collectors, is heading for the end of it.
Just my thoughts,
Dan
