I agree with an earlier post about contacting the authorities about this and see if they can put some heat on them. A simple phone call from a detective I'm sure would do wonders...

Let's hope he solves this by Monday. For what it's worth, if he's a scammer I think I'd be hestitant to have a face-to-face meeting without some backup.

just fyi for you on SquareDeal... My experience with Square Deal was a joke. To me they have no power to do anything expect give the seller a way to retract any neg feedback if found in his favor (even if you pay for a modarator).
