Just got back from a quick trip to Vegas. I'm normally a backjack player but decided to see if I can grab a few Strikes during my non-table time. Stayed at the Aladdin and had a great time. There was some ongoing construction but was well hidden and did not bother us at all. They had 3 machines near the buffet entrance, all next to one another. One had only Planet Hollywood Tokens, and one had only the old Aladdin tokens. Tried my luck and got an Aladdin after $14 spent. Kept playing and got a Scheherazade for $8 so basically $11 apiece. Very nice looking tokens both of them. The next day, I went down to try to get the rest of the set but a lady was there already and had grabbed another 7! Not sure how long she had played but it looked like she was going to be there awhile so I went to New York New York. Found a machine by the entrance and after $6 got a Manhattan Express! That was very nice. The Mirage had 2 machines but only had the Danny Gans tokens which I passed on. They didn't really look that great to me. TI also had 2 machines but only had the Tangerine tokens left. Tried my luck anyway but lost $10 so I left. Went to the Bellagio and they had 3 machines. Tried my luck at the one by the "O" theatre but eventually lost $5 before cashing out. Then went to the one by the buffet and tried my luck there. After a few minutes got a Double Diamond and eventually won $44! Didn't really care about getting the Strike at that point and quickly left. After a long day went back to the Aladdin but all 3 machines were busy so I went to bed instead. Overall, I got 3 strikes and best of all, it didn't cost me anything! Quite happy overall.
