ship strikes--Thanks Sarge for the reminder & info
In Response To: shipping strikes ()

Howdy & Bonsour to all,
If the SS club members will look back several. Club news letters back--around end of 2005 or first part of 2006-- About the time the last postal rates went up. (I seem to have misplaced the right news letter). I wrote a article in it detailing the "FREE FLAT RATE" post office piority boxes and mailers. The rates here have gone up some. Since my article was wrote amd appeared in the club news letter.

YES, there is also a piority flat rate MAILER for $4.05. With no weight limit. It is ideal for up to 8 strikes. Depending on size and the way they are packaged. A $200 will work here also, if packaged right!! Be sure to ask the postal clerk. If it is OK to put extra tape on the mailer flap. BEFORE you you put it on the mailer. If you want to add tape. With out the OK. The extra tape MIGHT void the $4.05 rate. DONOT just throw the strikes in the mailer LOOSE. Fix the strike case/cases so that they CANNOT move around inside of the mailer.

Extra tape on the flat rate BOXES does not affect the $8.10 rate. Also remember the weight of the box is restricted to the normal post office weight limit of 50 lbs per box or item.

PLEASE NOTE::: BE SURE TO USE THE MAILER OR BOX. THAT SAYS ""FLAT RATE'' ON IT. OR you will most likely be charged the HIGH piority rate by weight.

I suggest that my article in the club
newsletter. Be read on this Postal item. It will better explain. How to use this special box or mailer. Also check with your local post office for more information on this postal special deal.

I have been using these mailers and box. For quite some time and with great success.
Happy mailing,
Dan
