Jamie, in late 1992 Harvey's in Lake Tahoe was the first casino to have the slot machine for strikes. The first strike was the $7.00 with the train design. In those early days strikes did not come with the plastic caps because it was expected the tokens would be turned in not kept and the thought of collectors was not there.
