Over Labor Day weekend, I also played the three line strike machine at the Palms. $200 in, not one strike. Played the single machine, $100 in, two strikes. That is one tight place to play. WAY cheaper to buy them. Won $600 on video poker though, so I still left with $300 and two strikes....
