Sometimes you win right away and sometimes you don't. I would say about 12-14 dollars.

I walked in to the Boardwalk Casino before it was closing for some chips when I passed the strike machine and realized I didn't have any. I put a 20 dollar bill in and won a strike on the second spin. That would have been a cheap strike, but now I play the rest of the 20 and don't get another. Barry
