I believe the proper term is MEDAL ALIGNED vs COIN ALINGED. All coins that are legal tender in the U.S. are minted in oposing directions on the front and back. It is illegal to manufature other items that resemble legal tender in this way, or any other way. All other objects of this nature are referred to by the U.S. mint as MEDALLIONS. Hence, the term MEDAL ALIGNED. If we were trying to be proper we would call it MEDALLION ALIGNED. Look at all other round metal objects with images on them. They will be manufactured with the front and back with the head or image in the same upright position. I guess we should begin correcting ourselves on all of our terminology so this message board would return to important subjects such as who has what to trade. Maybe the occasional casino news and new release updates. Which are the only real issues 99% of us are interested in. I am ready to make a motion to the officers that we dismiss the issue of "WHAT IS SILVER STRIKE" since it is a meaningless issue. We will all collect what we like and call it what we chose. This club is just for fun anyway and as soon as it starts getting serious I will be out of here as will be most others. I have enough seriousness in my life already. This is my hobby which is supposed to relax me. So, give it a rest Marv before you run everyone off. Do I hear anyone else agree with an "AYE" to stop debating "WHAT IS A SILVER STRIKE" since the newsletter cleared that up for nominations of SSOTY.
