Back from Vegas and in our running around I found that in Circus Circus both machines gone, Ellis Island machine is gone but was able to buy a strike from cashiers cage. South Coast machine had an out of order sign on it and they told me it was empty and they didn't have any at the cage, Hooters didn't have a machine or any at the cage, I got a Harrahs strike at the cage and in a pawn shop on about the 800 block on Las Vegas Blvd I got a Horseshoe strike. My husband won me a red cap Hoover Dam in Slots of Fun which was the one I needed. At the Stardust I watched a man and his wife win three strkes for $20.00. All three were the same and I didn't want that one so we moved on. On the last day 12 of our 13 group went to Laughlin and I was able to buy three strikes at the Pioneer and one from the Edgewater. The Flamingo is going to be something else and the machine was gone from there, no strikes at the cage. They had two at the cage in the Golden Nugget but my friend took the one I wanted and I didn't want the other one. I was also getting poker chips for a friend that couldn't come and all the cages were very nice about that. Giving me clean ones and the Edgewater even put theirs in a case. We had a great time as we always do in Vegas but sad to see the strike machines going. Hard to stomach that another landmark, The Stardust won't be there when we go back. The bus driver to Laughlin said that the Imperial Palace was next to go? Anyone know anything about that? Sherry
