Archie:
I have three Foxwoods one pound silver rounds. The first, dated 1994, is a Walking Liberty with a "CC" mint mark. It has a reeded edge, except for a small smooth spot with a serial number. The second is also Walking Liberty, dated 1995, smooth edge, with a "GDC" mint mark. These two are silver with gold electroplating. The third is completely gold plated, no date of issue (although it bears the date 1907), and is a replica of the $20 St. Gaudens US gold piece. The edge is reeded except for a small smooth area with a serial number. I have been told that this third piece was issued for an event but I have no further confirmation. None of the three states a denomination and nowhere on the piece does the word "Foxwoods" appear.
Each of the three is in a presentation box accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity which states: "This limited edition commemorative is certified to have been struck to the highest standards for Foxwoods Resort/Casino"
