I had an email from Jeff regarding this matter and went and checked the strikes I have in my collection. He is very correct in his observations. If my memory serves me right, strikes should be around 34 mm in diameter. These strikes are 39 mm. I have measured the thickness and they are around the same. The newer strikes also weight less than the older strikes. New strikes weight in at about 541.7 grams, older strikes weighted in at 577.4 grams.

I am not voicing an opinion just give you my own observations. Not sure what IGT is up to in these changes. I have measured other casino's strikes and they are at the 34 mm diameter but are still weighting in at around 541 grams. I am using grams instead of oz. because they give a more accurate measure of weight. HAPPY COLLECTING. Before anyone asks, I do not have any of the smaller size Arch strikes.
