I have to agree with Kirk on this one. A bid on ebay is a contract to buy at the price bid. Skip, how would you feel if you had a $200 item listed and it was bid up to $250, then bids were retracted late into the auction and the item ended at Twenty bucks? (this is a scam that does happen on ebay). I'm not saying any of the discussed auctions were anything of this sort, but as a seller, you are paying ebay fees and if someone retracts a bid, it will affect the end selling price and this is unfair to the seller. My belief, you bid, you Buy. -Shawn
