Assay test done on $10 silver strikes have concluded that only the center portion is .999 fine silver and that weighs .6 of an ounce.

The outter rims are NOT silver ... which is what caused the regulations to be changed by Nevada Gaming Control to move the .999 fine silver designation from the outter rim to the center silver insert.
