Hey, it's coffee dave here. Remember though, it's KONA coffee, THE BEST. Here's the deal for me. I have been going to the Stardust for many years, and have lots of Stardust memorabilia. I had every Stardust strike but Dusty and the NY strike. They are limited run strikes, not available to the general public, and I needed them to make my sets. I have three young kids and I want a set for each child. I have never even played a Silver Strike machine until yesterday! My uncle plays all the time and gave me the Stardusts. So when I saw them on eBay, I went after them. I ended up getting three dustys. I have asked many people if they have the NY strike, and always no. Never saw it on eBay, never saw it on Jackpot. So when it popped up, I'm going after it. Then of course, once the bidding war starts, the competetive side of me goes for it. I am the high bidder at $427, but that is my max and if it goes higher, I'll try to get one elsewhere, with the goal of getting three. Baxtobax seems to always end up getting the good ones. Talk to Ric Culver, Baxter, and Harvey, I bought the Dusty from each of them and I paid each of them. I have the three dustys as proof. It's supply and demand. Everyone says they will be on eBay next week for $25, well where have they been for the last many months?

By the way, Stardust spits out Hot Slots pretty easily, but that's all there is in all four machines. For $400, I got 5 Hard Rock Rehabs and 3 Drum sets (will put on eBay when I get home from Las Vegas) plus a lot of the Palm tree and love jones ones.

I'm new to this whole silver strike thing, but it's addicting (like the REHAB strike....) and it's fun. I have met some great contacts and nice people already, Neil C. wrote me from the Orleans to tell me about it (where I am now), all the great sellers I've bought from have sent me the strikes as promised, I see why you all do this. I'm kind of jumping in the game here, might buy some, might sell some, but it's fun! I will be downloading an application and hope to join soon!

And one last thing, sorry so long, but if you play silver strike machines, I found if you let your wife play, SHE wins WAY more! Let's see, my first $100 at Hard Rock, ONE PALM TREE STRIKE. Her first $100, 9 strikes including two Rehabs and one drum set. I have learned my lesson, I now observe the master.
