I'm really glad everyone is into this discussion. It's fun to have something to read on our board, but all of this discussion is moot because something is clear here.
Since it will be the general membership who decides what is eligible for nomination for the Silver Strike of the year, as well as actually voted as SSOTY, it really makes no difference if a non-eligible sneaks into the voting arena.
The majority who thinks it does not belong there is not going to vote for it anyway, so it will not win. With so many nominations ANY SS will have a difficult time winning.
So let's not get into an uproar about this...it'll all be decided in good time. GO OUT AND HAVE FUN!!
