Re: ??? Silver Strike ???

It goes on and on, Archie, and you have a deadline and a very good point. I have nominated a couple of the $200s for SSOTY and did that because to get one of them you have to win 20 $10 strikes from the machine. They are also displayed in the machine as a higher value Souvenir Coin than the $10 strikes that come out of the machine. I think the qualification is pretty clear here, unlike the grayer areas of the Sid's, NOT ELIGIBLE, and the tournament strikes, which present the dilemma.

If I were an officer I would not include these tournament Strikes, this year and ask for a vote from the floor at the general meeting for next year. Since it only concerns one casino, Osheas, we have plenty of other great strikes that this same casino issued last year to choose from, the blue Christmas, the Donkey and Elephant series, and the Club strike, plue the autos, 12th anniversary and Halloween. This is a popularity contest, however, and the Strike that gets the most votes, wins, so perhaps this dialogue will encourage everyone to vote. At least you have made us think...thanks, Peter
