I tried this product on very tarnished strikes as a test. It works very well. It removes tarnish from the brass and will remove dull spots on the silver. I have seen no residual side effects. As for the 'different color to the brass' that Dennis mentions... I tried another product - Tarnex - wow is it harsh. It removes everything - tarnish - luster - and probably skin - I used gloves because of the warnings. I would never recommend that product unless you wanted to use it on lawn furniture. Has anyone else tried MAAS? David
