"If anyone has ever noticed the title to my guide... it's
NEVADA SILVER PREMIUM GAMING TOKENS
I still prefer to call these tokens SPT's - (Silver Premium Tokens)
.
.
.
Which brings us to the crux of the matter. This is not a question about what collectors wish to collect.... nor a debate about Silver Strikes vs. Silver Premium Tokens vs. Prize Tokens vs. Silver Coins vs. Silver Medals. These one-pound silver medallions are beautifully executed and make handsome additions to anyone's collection. However, The name chosen for the Chapter is "Silver Strikers Chapter of CC & GTCC".
I'll rephrase my question posed at the end of the thread where I asked; If instead of turning in 20 "silver strikes" for a one-pound silver medallion that was not won at the machine ... a collector was permitted to turn in 20 "silver strikes" for a one-pound silver coffee mug .... Would the one-pound silver coffee mug be considered eligible for SSOTY?"
I'll be guided by what the Silver Striker's Chapter Officers decide on this important issue... hopefully before the March 30 SSOTY deadline.
