Harrah's bought that area and raised the buildings. Other that the Barbary Coast, which their trying to buy, they own everything from Harrah's to Paris on that side of the street. Word on the streets is that they want to build a Mega, Mega Resort & casino from Barbary to Harrah's. It will be interesting to see if they do it. A lot of old landmarks will be gone but the new push is for money not memory lane. Maybe aome locals can at to this post with the latest word. Jeff
