Archie, I have seen similar post by you before. All one has to do is decide what they are willing to pay and stop there. I look at it this way, I may really want the item being auctioned so I place a bid of what I am willing to pay. If I don't get it, I figure that I have survived my whole life without it, I can continue to survive without it.

Of course I have another username that I use that does not have this philosophy and sometimes gets carried away and won't stop bidding.
