Richard. Seriously do what Kirk mentioned below. Use a good Sniping utility then NO ONE knows till the bitter end and thats the the way eBay works anyway. Personally I had the same problem bidding on lures and candidly saw the same few names always pumping up my bid. I did two things. Started using esnipe and also got 2 other ebay names to really srew up the lookers. Its easy to do. If I bid early now using my regular handle, Its usually done on purpose just to make the nosey ones thank, "What the heck is he doing bidding on that".
