I wanted to pass along my cleaning method for removing the surface scratches on the plastic redcap and bluecap stike cases to other collectors. I have found that using Meguiar's Number 18 clear plastic detailer, which is available in most automotive stores works very well. For those who may not know, Meguiar's 18 is used to remove the minor scratches from plastic convertible windows or headlight covers. Equally, it works really well to remove the scratches on the colored or clear plastic silver strike cases, as well. It may take a little rubbing but it does work very nicely.
