I suggest that you be real careful. Which cleaners you try to use. Some cleaners has chemicals that is not good for the metal in the strikes. And if you happen to get some on the strike. Or some manages to leak inside somehow. It could be bad for the strike. And you probally will not be able to repair it. And this will hurt the beauty and the value of the strike.
