To my coin collector friends. The Proof issue of the 2006 1 ounce Buffalo Gold Coin went on sale at the US Mint at Noon today. If you are interested they are selling for 800.00 in Proof. The mintage is limited to 300,000 coins. This could be a very popular item with coin collectors.
The Mint site was very busy when I ordered mine. It took almost a half hour. Some of my freinds say it took as long as 2 hours. Be patient if ordering. Good Luck and I hope this information helps you.
