There is a shuttle that runs from the Stardust to the South Coast (both owned by Boyd Gaming). It does not run often, so be sure to ask for times. (Stardust is within walking distance to Circus Circus.)
As an alternative. There is a double-decker bus service that now serves the Strip. Catch it to the Barbary Coast (Flamingo/Strip). Because you will be dropped off on the wrong side of the street, use the pedestrian bridge to get to the Barbary Coast and go to the Barbary Coast shuttle pick-up area. It is on Flamingo, away from the Strip (across the street from Bally's).
When any of the shuttles pull up ask the driver how does one get a shuttle to the South Coast. The Barbary Coast shuttle stop is a bit of a hub for the Coast Casinos shuttles. They will have a shuttle that goes between the South Coast and Barbary Coast, or you will have to catch the shuttle that goes first to the Gold Coast or The Orleans, and then connects to a shuttle going to the South Coast.
Make sure that you understand that the South Coast is a long, long way from the end of the Strip!!!!
If you are using the Coast Casinos shuttle, it helps to have a room key from any Boyd property. They usually do not challenge riders, unless they look like they are homeless.
Good luck,
Jim
