Kevin - I do belive that strikes the casinos order as a chasher strike are delivered in a red cap but some casinos have been able to get empty red caps from whom ever supplies them to put some older strikes into. I think the casinos figured out collectors would play more if they saw a red cap in the machines thinking it was a new chasher strike. One casino the Hilton in Reno did post a notice stating what was in the red caps they put in their machines awhile back but a couple of other casinos who put older common strikes in red caps never had anything posted about the red caps containing older strikes.
