Jerry, what is the "broad picture" ... isn't it to expand the Silver Striker's membership base? You do that NOT by excluding interested people.

Yes, if the Silver Strikers Club is giving something away to members as a benefit to belonging to the club, I agree, they should be restricted to members only. But if a business organization (like IGT or Palms Casino) is giving something away and there is plenty to go around, I don't think that it should be restricted to silver strikers only.

But to bar non-members from attending what is billed as an educational forum to learn something about the hobby is defeating the purpose by prohibiting non-members in my opinion..., and not looking at the "big picture".
