Jerry,

Since my wife is not a club member, does this mean she has to stand out in the hallway until the meeting is over? Actually, she paid the money for my membership, so can she get a waiver? The fourm needs to be open to everyone for 2 reasons:

1. If Joe Blow off the street comes in and gets information about strikes, and the SS club, it might intice them start collecting and/or join.

2. If the handouts are only available to members, people that are on the fence about joining might see this as one of the perks for a membership fee.

Plus, a point of view from a non-member, that doesnt read what we all read, collect what we all collect, or have knowledge of the future of striking like a few of you have, might be beneficial to the conversations. Personaly, I didnt even know strikes existed 9 months ago. Now I am a member of both clubs, contribute to the board as well as I can, have a collection of over 500 strikes and try to spread the word to anyone who will listen. Whos to say theres not 10 more people like myself out there and an OPEN fourm is the conduit they need to get a foot into the collection door?
