WHAT LINE???????? at IGT hand out. And I am sorry that I got the hand outs mixed up. I also want to THANK Pam for setting the rules at the Palms handout. And if she had not, it would most probally have been a REPEAT. Of the IGT hand out. The Palms handout had been handled different in past years hand outs. But, I am not sure it was going to be done the same as before, last year.
I guess what I am trying to say. Is that there was NO excuse by club members. As to acting the way they acted. Last year no matter what was being handed out. And why should a hand out rule HAVE to be made, to keep everybody honest. Unfortunately this is the way it is.
As to selling the hand outs. I am not really against this. But, at least be courteous about it. And not run to the nearest computer. And try to get it on e-bay. Before everybody else, so as to get a highter price, then the next seller. After all it was given out FREE. Even though it was not said. I feel this hand out was not intended to be a profit making item. By the persons or casino or company handing them out.
Jerry, you and your wife are club members. So you both are entitled to get a handout. But, the question here; is should non club members get a free convention hand out of this type??? I think not. Any extra handout goes to the SS club for them to sell. And possibally some to the CC>CC as a thank for their help to us. They could sell them for their building fund.
As for "did they come to the forum only for the hand out" only the attendies know for sure. As for poorly organized. What could be any more clearer. Than get in LINE at the door, for the hand out. I do not recall, anybody saying to GO MOB the persons doing the hand outs at the door.
