I've been helped in this forum several times in the past and am appealing yet again. I recently received an inquiry from a Las Vegas Advisor reader wanting to know how the rising price of silver was affecting silver strikes. Are they a better bet to play for now because they're intrinsically more valuable? Or does the silver in strikes have little affect on their monetary value and is it all about collectability? Are you concerned that the escalating costs of creating strikes will deter manufacturers from making them in the future?
Any insights into this topic (and its history - I'm assuming that fluctuating silver prices have been an issue in the past, too) would be much appreciated, as always!
Thanks
